Yon-Ka was created in 1954 by the Mühlethaler family who had a passion for botany. Pioneers in aromatherapy and phytotherapy, Cécile, Ernest and Charles Mühlethaler established the Multaler laboratories in 1954, with a rich collection of knowledge which they shared only with a few scientists, chemists, and physicians.

In 1968, the Mühlethaler sisters, Catherine (an aesthetician) and Françoise (a biochemist) took the lead of the company. Fierce brand advocates and visionaries, they continue to drive the company forward, and expand internationally, notably in the United-States. France remains the world-wide leader in the luxury health, wellness and beauty space.

Today, Yon-Ka is present in 56 countries through a network of spas, salons, and medical facilities.
